Chariot has determined that when certain carriers are used as a bicycle trailer, in very rare circumstances, there could be failure to the Chariot push button Hitch Arm and as well on the Versa Wing 2.0.

The Recalled items are (1) Chariot Push Button Hitch Arm Cycling Kit; from October 2002 to August 2011 (2) Versa Wing 2.0 found on carriers  between the dates of December 2005 to August 2010 with Serial Numbers between 1205-xxxx - 0710-xxxx.

Don't Get Doored! - Whenever you're pedaling past parked cars, remain alert for drivers exiting. Should they swing open their door, you'll have to react quickly to avoid a collision that may seriously injure you and damage your bike. It's called getting "doored," and take our word for it, it's no fun! One secret to avoiding it is looking into the cars ahead (you can also look into their windshield-mount rear-view mirrors). If you see that someone's sitting in the car, give the car a wide berth. In fact, to be safe, it's best to never assume a parked car is empty.
